Our farm is situated approximately 18 kms west of Goulburn at Parkesbourne in the Southern Tablelands. It has a northern aspect with plenty of natural shelter trees. At the highest point the farm is 730 m above sea level.
The farm is 100 acres or 40 ha in size; the soils are granite sandy loams and are ideal for producing quality grass for alpaca grazing. This environment testifies why the Southern Tablelands position is at the forefront of superfine merino wool growing in Australia. Therefore we see this region as ideal for breeding and producing superfine alpacas.
